It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas

Marc making glitter balls. He really didn't like me taking this picture because he didn't want anybody to see him"crafting". He said that's what girls do, but he was really good at it and I think he secretly liked it.

He thought he would get me back by taking my picture, but I didn't mind. So here I am making glitter balls.

So Marc doesn't like getting his picture taken especially when he is doing something that he doesn't want anybody to see him doing, like decorating the tree. He really got into it though. When I went to buy some decorations for our tree he said not to buy any cheesey ones because he REALLY didn't want an ugly tree. I tried to take a picture of him putting ribon on the tree, but my camera was off and the next thing I new he was sitting on the couch refusing to do any more. So this picture is him trying to hide from a picture.

Here he is all embaraced.

So then I had to try and put on the ribbon.

But because Marc doesn't want an ugly tree, he had to take over, and I got a picture of him.

Our finished tree with no star.

Marc tying a bow on MY PRESENT!!!!

So this doesn't have any thing to do with Christmas, but yesterday Marc and I played Jenga and my camera was sitting on the table so I thought I would take a picture. It was a pretty intense game, and it did go on for a few more rounds after this picture before it went down. You can totally see it leaning, and yes the bottom two rows have only the middle blocks... That was Marc's doing! I kept getting mad at him cause those were always the first blocks he took.

Coach Bybee

Marc got a new job for next spring! He is going to be the new sprints coach for Bishop Kelly's track team. He is way excited, and I am too! Last year before he quit track at Boise State the long distance coach who is also the head track coach at BK told Marc that if he ever wanted a coaching job to give him a call because he has lots of connections around the valley. So he took him up on it and gave him a call a couple weeks ago. His timing was perfect because BK's sprint coach had just notified the school that he wasn't going to coach there next season, so they were in need of a sprints coach, and Marc got the job! He has already met some of the athletes and has winter workouts for them. This will be an awesome opportunity for him and we both aresuper excited!

Our first Halloween!

We carved a pumkin! All the pumkins were pretty picked over, so all that was left were ugly ones, ones with no stem, and huge ones. So I decided that I didn't want to carve a huge pumpkin by myself so Marc and I carved one together.

Getting the top off was so hard! it was so thick. Marc had to hold the stem and I held the pumpkin and we both pulled... it was pretty funny. We managed to get it though...because Marc is so manly :).
Marc hates getting his picture taken and he is trying to ignore me.

I drew the face and Marc carved it. He picked the mouth too.

The finished product.

America's Got Talent

Marc and I really got into America's Got Talent. We were both big fans of Nuttin But Stringz. They are amazing violinist. Unfortunately they didn't win, but should have. They actually ended up 3rd! Which was really surprising because even the judges were rooting for them, but it was up to America, and they choose some other opera singer. Seriously? Do you think an Opera singer is going to make it in Vagas?--NO! Anyway, for any of you who haven't seen or heard these guys play, you should really watch this video (Kim, you would really apreciate this)...

Our humble hole, I mean home (actually apartment)

We are finally in our own appartment, and have been for almost three weeks now. It's pretty dang small and we were both worried about fitting all our stuff in it, but somehow it does. There is only two walls that are actual sheet rock and the rest brick, so it makes it hard to hang things, but the brick is actually kinda neat. There is no dishwasher!!! so I have to wash all our dishes by hand which pretty much sucks, but with only the two of us there really isn't too many dishes. Oh, and the smoke alarm goes off everytime I cook. Seriously, I will preheat the oven and just opening the oven to put the food into it causes the alarm to go off. It is pretty annoying. Overall it really isn't that bad though. We are planning on being here only 9 months (until the end of the school year) and the rent is really cheap and its close to campus which makes it nice on gas... Marc and I haven't filled up the car in 2 weeks and he hasn't filled up his motor cycle in almost 3 weeks. It is pretty nice. But here are some pics of our little apartment. There aren't as many as Chandi's, but her house is way bigger than our 800 sq. foot dinky apartment.

This is our bedroom in which our bed barely fits and there is like only 1 foot between the bed and the wall on the other side of the bed. I caved in and let Marc put his ugly D.I. dresser out instead of the closet because there was no room in the closet and we need the drawers!

Our bathroom reminds me of a hotel bathroom.
This is one non-brick wall...
... and here is the other.
I thought we were going to have to eat every meal off our tv trays from Aunt Jerry becasue I wasn't sure if we would actually be able to fit a table in here, but with only having one couch (yes the ugly and most uncomfortable one from the cabin) we were able to fit it with room to spare. The kitchen is so small it only took 1 picture to get every angle. Again... notice no dishwasher!!!!

We're Moving!

We have been living at Marc's parents in Pocatello for the summer, but we are moving back to Boise on Saturday. We will be living in some university apartments. It is super small and not very nice, but it is cheap and close to campus. We are both ready to move, seeing how we have lived at his parents since we got married. It will be nice to finally be on our own. I will definately post some pics of "our first place" as soon as we are settled and I have it decorated super cute.

Marc got a new motorcyle!

Marc got a 2007 UM (United Motors/Hyosung) V2S 650R bullet bike. It is pretty sweet and super fun to ride! We both love it. It gets about 50 miles per gallon, which makes the high gas prices feel a lot better because we only have to fill up one car each week now.

Marc hurt himself...Again.

So a lot of people post blogs about when their kids get hurt. We don't have kids, but Marc plays the part of getting hurt quite well. It seems that he hurts himself (mostly from wakeboarding) and then as soon as he is well enough to wakeboard he hurts himself again.

This was Marc's first injury of the summer, not actually from wakeboarding though., but couldn't wakeboard for about a week or two. He got this one trying to get a trailor loose from the hitch of his brothers truck, so he jumped on the bumber, slipped off and sliced his leg on the exhaust. His dad fixed it up by giving him seven stitches and told him he couldn't wakboard because his bindings would cause the stiches to open up, but he could surf. So here is a picture of him surfing--

Marc got hurt again the first time back out wakeboarding after getting his stiches out. This time he ruptured his eardrum doing a 360. He got off axis during his rotation and landed strait on his ear. It drained water and gross stuff for a few weeks, but it is finnaly starting to get better. He has gotten a couple concussions from wakeboarding and after rupturing his eardrum he decided he should wear a helmet. The helmet looks kind of dorky, but will keep him alive!

This is his most recent injury from just a couple days ago. He hurt his arm/shoulder doing a tantrum, which is basically a backflip. He is not sure how exactly he hurt it because his left arm isn't on the rope for this flip, and it is a flip he is pretty comfortable doing and does it as a warm up for other flips and tricks. But it is feeling better and he will be able to wakeboard this weekend when we go to his cabin! I on the other hand wont be able to wakeboard because my new binding are still not in yet! Oh well.

Just for Fun

So I saw this on my brother and sister in-laws page and thought it would be fun to put on our page. So here it is:

How long did we date? we dated a year then were engaged for almost 4 months.

Who said I love you first? It was complicated. Marc sorta said if first, but then he forced it out of me.

Who sings better? uh... we are both pretty bad!

Who's smarter? That would be Marc, but probably only because he has more discapline to apply himself.

Who pays the bills? Marc makes the money, I pay them.

Who sleeps on the right side of the bed? Me because I make Marc sleep closer to the door.

Who Mows the lawn? We don't have a lawn to mow.

Who cooks dinner? Me, but marc does make some pretty good chicken enchaladas and the best steaks ever-- he does all the BBQin'.

Who drives? Mostly Marc

Who's more stubborn? Marc

Who kissed who first? We kissed eachother, duh! Marc went in for the kiss though.

Who asked who out first? Marc asked me

Who Propsed? Marc. It was my birthday and he wrapped the ring up in a big box to disguise it.

More Siblings? We have the same... crazy actually, we both have 5 boys and 5 girls in our families and are both the 8th.

Who wears the pants? Marc so far.

4th of July

We spent the 4th of July weekend wakeboarding (of course) with Marc's brothers and some friends. We had so much fun. We went to Burley on the 4th and wakeboarded on the Snake River. It was pretty crouded at the launch so we went up streem and found a better spot and had the river to ourselves for most of the day. Then on Saturday we went to American falls which was super fun too even though we were super tired and worn out from the day before.

This is Marc's Friend Andrew. He had allergies so he took a Benadryl and fell asleep.

Marc is pretty darn good.

This is Marc's brother Brett doing a 360. I took this picture and was pretty proud of myself cause it is a sweet picture.

Marc ruptured his eardrum so now he wears a helmet to wakeboard in.

Summer Time!

Right now we are living in Pocatello for the summer. We are having a blast going to Marc's cabin in West Yellowstone, wakeboarding, and camping.

We're married!

So we decided that since every other married person has a bog, we needed to have a blog too. So here we are. We got married on May 31, and it is awesome! We are living with Marc's parents for the summer, which isn't so bad considering we are newlyweds. We will move back to Boise in August where we will finish up school and live in our way cute little appartment and drive around town on Marc's hot bullet bike, but only when it is warm, otherwise we will drive our car.
